Perfectly serviceable but without anything noteworthy, the bit of Mash accomplishing all magical events with physical capability wears out quickly and for such an intentionally mute character the rest of the cast are either too one note or not fleshed out enough to be an interesting dichotomy. Lemon is the best character cause of how wacky she is though relatively balanced with being reasonable, the animation is fine and while the story of the "punch wizard" isn't unfamiliar it is in the lacking comedy that makes this show kind of a bore. Nobody subverts or accentuates their trope enough to have a funny remark and none of the villains beyond Silva are detestable enough to be an enjoyable foil for Mash. Some plot elements like the one kid being captured and turned to a puppet right before Mash deals with the final villain and the lack of visual continuity in the battle damage is also annoying though a trite complaint on my end.

Not great, not terrible. Hope Season 2 improves on the comedy and elevates the experience above mediocre.
