I just finished watching this anime, and I've grown attached to it very much! The storyline, the characters, and a lot of interesting facts even I didn't know about maiko and geiko, as well as cooking/food facts. It seems like this anime is a bit underrated, but the quality of the storyline really works so well together with the characters and their personalities! It's definitely not like any typical anime shows I've seen before that involves one specific topic like the strict rules of becoming a maiko. It really makes you feel like you're learning a lot from it as well as getting some laughs throughout the show and be able to see through the feelings and skills the characters are really like as themselves other than becoming what they're expected to do when they chose the path to becoming a maiko. Not to mention the really close frienship between Kiyo and Sumire was really wholesome and sweet! I just love how they look out for each other even if one achieves their dream, while the other is there to support them behind the scenes. Overall, I really enjoyed it very much! I do wish there was more to this series! Would love to see more for if it happens in the near future! Highly recommend this anime to others! ^-^ <3
