Hitsugi no Chaika is one of my most favourite anime and I am not sure why.

I adore the idea of the setting where the apocalyptic battle for the world is already won. The setting is mostly generic JRPG, except for the magic system, probably.

I also like the villain. Despite how little is actually shown of him, an attentive viewer will discover hints of his horrible power throughout the journey.

I strongly recommed Hitsugi no Chaika to those who love fantasy and dislike isekai.
