With Shiki`s persuasion, the Kao Council decides to expand the number of performers for Opening Ceremony. Once again back to a 14-person company, Hoshitani and the others devote themselves to practice. Meanwhile, a slight rift is beginning to form between Shiki, who agreed to the second-years` request, and Fuyusawa, who is determined to avoid any risk of failure. The difference between their goals, ideals, and feelings becomes increasingly clear.
