One morning, as Nikomaru is getting ready for school, Akitakomachi shows up at his door carrying a lost baby named Rinx Kobayashi. Akitakomachi says he found the baby in a rice cooker on his way to school. The two of them decide to take care of Rinx Kobayashi together, and through much trial and error, they try their hardest to be good parents.
