Two reporters, who are riding on the South Manchuria Railway, run into Kanji Ishihara, the Lieutenant Colonel of the Kwantung Army. He helped devise a bombing so that Japan could attack Manchuria out of “self-defense.” Ishihara and several other high ranking officials come face to face with the prophetess.
