In order for the kids to show off at the kindergarten athletic meet, Dad starts a strict training regimen. But, due to inclimate weather, the meet is cancelled; Upon heading to the park after the rain, Dad is delighted to see the sun be out. Bunji gets into an argument with a friend, but he says a bunch of things they don`t understand; Mom begins to lecture Bunji about quarrels, but...; Mom`s deadline is fast approaching and Dad, Fumi, and Bunji are romping around like usual. Before they realize it, Mom is nowhere to be seen... Did she run away?; The family goes to a local festival. They eat yakisoba, do target practice, and visit the night vendors.
