Bunji is invited for a hotpot dinner at the home of the four Iwamura children. Unable to be silent, the hotpot master, Dad, teaches Bunji how to be a hotpot samurai; Mom`s assistant, Ai, takes Bunji and Daichi to a Hopperman show per Mom`s request. Ai braces herself for the worst, but the boys` behavior far surpasses her expectations; Dad is out of town on business. Against the dry winter night, Mom gently asks Bunji and Fumi if they want to go see the snow; Dad is sorting war photographs for his work. Bunji walks in and offers to help. Dad is proud that he gets to show his working self to his son once in a while.
